These SBD protein bars are very tasty for a protein bar. They’re like a dense rice-crispy treat with cinnamon icing holding things together. I think they’re perfect for a healthy snack, energy during a longer workout, or if you eat two of them with a piece of fruit, a very good light meal. They have about 10 grams of protein each, which is really good considering they’re only 35g bars. They also have a good deal of fiber, are low in sugar, and have very little fat. They are smaller than many other protein bars, so bear in mind that they are NOT meal replacement bars unless you eat more than one of them.

These bars are tasty and low calorie, but beware… the “New” bars with the orange “Protein Fit” label are really lower in protein than the bars they replaced. These new bars have 8 grams of protein (15% of Daily Value) and the old bars had 10 grams (20%). Pretty sneaky! Not a huge difference, but very disappointing. That’s probaby why the box says “NEW LOWER PRICE.” They can afford to do that since they cut out some of the protein!

Thiis is too expensive. At this price it averages about 3.60 per box. You can get them at wal-mart for around 2.50 amd every now and then Meijers puts them on sale for 2.00 per box and Wal-Mart will match the price. I was hoping to get a better deal at Amazon.

These 140 calorie bars are a yummy snack or a between meal item to keep you from pigging out on something with far more fat/calories. The cinnamon raisin flavor is full of sweetness, almost like a candy bar but guilt free with protein and vitamins. One is plenty, especially with a hot calorie-free beverage to hold a dieter over until the next meal. I have these at home all the time plus in my purse for ‘snack attacks’!

These are good for a quick morning meal, and the high protein count actually keeps you from getting hungry most of the morning. The cinnamon raisin is my favorite flavor.
