I went through both Army and Marine recruit training as an infantryman. I think the footage you are using for Army is not actually real Army basic, it was for a television show. From my own experiences, they only had slight differences. I learned the same things in Army basic than I did in Marine boot. I didn’t notice any differences with training stress, however, the corps certaintly did seem to have a little more fun “screwing with your head” than the Army.
